Location. The Old Ship Hotel is located in Brighton, England, across the road from the beach, 200 metres from the Lanes, and two miles from Hove. Brighton train station is three quarters of a mile away.
Hotel Features. Built in 1559, this historic, white fronted hotel is one of the oldest in Brighton, with a grand, Regency style lobby featuring huge chandeliers and views over the English Channel. The Ship Hotel's Location3 restaurant is popular with both locals and guests, and serves continental dishes. The bar opens onto a south facing terrace and offers a selection of light meals and snacks. The restaurant has a vast wine cellar.

Driving Directions
From London Gatwick Airport (LGW):
Distance to Old Ship Hotel is 28.5 miles, approximately 47 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Trains run every 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport to Brighton station, which is three quarters of a mile from the hotel. Trains also go to Hove station. Taxis to from Gatwick to Brighton coast approximately 25 35 GBP. Price is subject to change.
Getting around. Brighton and Hove are easily explored on foot, and there is a good bus service. Buses and trains connect with destinations outside of Brighton, including London, which is 50 minute journey by train.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the M23 in the direction of Brighton.
Leave the M23 at junction 11 onto the London Road (A23).
In Brighton, continue on the A23 to the seafront and turn right (A259).
The Ship Hotel is on the right.
