Location. Broome Park Golf and Country Club is located in Barham, England, in the centre of rural Kent, within 7.5 miles of both Canterbury and Dover. Snowdown station is 4.5 miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This 17th century grade I listed Jacobean mansion, with its accommodation in separate private lodges, is surrounded by a 268 acre estate and a golf course. Facilities include a sauna, spa tub, and solarium. There is also an onsite grocery, plus a games room, and a movie rental service.

Broome Park has a bar in the main building, along with its Jacobean Restaurant, which offers à la carte dining with dishes made using fresh local Kent produce. It also features an antique crystal chandelier, and has bay windows overlooking the estate's lawns and rolling countryside.

Broome Park Golf and Country Club features a private 18 hole championship golf course, with a driving range, putting green, and pro shop. Other onsite activities include croquet, gym, tennis, squash, yoga classes, a gym, and hot air ballooning.

Guestrooms. Broome Park offers 14 two bedroom paddock lodges, all on one level, and featuring two bathrooms, separate sitting areas with sofabeds, CD players, satellite television, clock radios, and complimentary welcome packs including essentials like tea, coffee, and bottled water. Kitchens include dishwashers, and washing machines. Each lodge has designated parking space, with trolleys available to transport luggage to the accommodation.

Expert Tip. Broome Park is a launch site for hot air balloon flights when weather conditions are favourable. The balloons fly across the Kent countryside, offering spectacular views across to Canterbury and Dover. The main ballooning season runs from April to October.

Driving Directions

From London Gatwick Airport (LGW):

Getting there. The quickest way to reach the hotel is normally by car. Broome Park is 4.5 miles from Snowdown Station, which can be reached from Gatwick Airport in approximately two hours and 45 minutes (subject to change). A taxi directly from Gatwick to the hotel will cost approximately 70 GBP (price subject to change).

Getting around. The best way to explore Kent is by car.

Driving directions. From London Gatwick Airport take the M23 north towards London.
Join the M25 east towards Dartford.
Exit at Junction 2 and join the A2/M2 eastwards.
Take the exit signed to Folkestone/Crematorium onto the A260.
Follow signposts to Folkestone for approximately one mile, passing a service station and the Crematorium.
Broome Park is on the right hand side of the road.
