The Claremont Hotel is a three floor white seafront townhouse on the promenade of Douglas Bay on the Isle of Man, with views over the Irish Sea. The 56 guestrooms feature contemporary décor in simple colours with modern furniture and are equipped with minibars, cable television and wireless Internet access, CD/DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities, safes, and complimentary designer toiletries. Playstation 2s are available on request. Executive rooms feature limestone and granite bathrooms and benefit from widescreen televisions.
Guests can dine at the hotel's Coast Bar and Brasserie, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serving international and Italian dishes in a stylish contemporary setting with polished wooden floors. The hotel's modern conference facility can hold up to 200 delegates while the more intimate Library meeting room has a capacity of 20. Guests can relax in the hotel bar or browse complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for those guests who wish to plan sightseeing around the island. Active guests should head for the National Sports Centre two miles away for a range of activities while sightseers may enjoy a visit to Castle Rushen, six miles away. Other nearby attractions include Snaefell the island's highest peak and Peel Harbour, six and seven miles away respectively. The hotel is approximately 12.5 miles from Isle of Man Airport. Taxis are available at the airport and cost approximately 15 20 GBP to the hotel.

Driving Directions

From the airport, take the A5 and follow signs to Douglas. At Douglas take the A1 towards the sea terminal and turn left along the promenade, on which the hotel is located on the left hand side.
