Property Information

The Gatwick White House Hotel is a purpose built guesthouse situated one and a half miles from Gatwick Airport and a 35 minute train journey from central London. The 27 guestrooms have simple modern decor with patterned fabrics. All guestrooms include televisions, direct dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless Internet connections, clock radios, and bathrooms with hair dryers and toiletries.
After breakfast, guests can relax in the lounge or access the Internet (surcharge) for leisure or business purposes. There is a discount scheme with a nearby fitness centre for those who like to exercise. The Saffron Grill Restaurant serves traditional English dishes, Indian curries and lighter meals in a relaxed atmosphere. Before or after dinner guests can chat over drinks in the White House Bar, which is set in a relaxed television lounge with separate smoking and non smoking areas. An express check in and out service is available and staff at the 24 hour front desk can advise on local amenities and attractions. Guests can visit Horley's town centre with its shops, restaurants, library and leisure centre half a mile away, or take a 35 minute train journey in to central London. London Gatwick Airport is one and a half miles away with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Driving Directions

Between 7 AM and 11 PM a free shuttle service runs between the airport and the hotel. Outside those hours, there is a £5 charge per room. To use this service, guests are advised to head for the ground floor and follow the signs for 'hotels courtesy coaches' under which there is a yellow telephone with the freephone number written on the panel for the White House Hotel (64101). Alternatively, taxis are readily available and cost approximately £6.50 to the hotel.
Driving directions: From the M25 exit at Junction 7 towards Gatwick Airport and the M23. From there exit Junction 9 and following the signs for Gatwick Airport. Go past the South Terminal and then at the North Terminal roundabout turn right. At the next roundabout take the third exit (still following the A23 into Horley). Take the fourth right into Church Road where the hotel is situated to the immediate left.
