Location. The George Hotel is located in the centre of Reading, England, opposite the Oracle Centre and 100 metres from the Riverside shopping and nightlife district. Reading train station is within one mile of the hotel.
Hotel Features. The four floor George Hotel occupies one of Reading's oldest buildings, a 15th century former coaching inn. The 18th and 19th century façades overlook a cobblestone courtyard. Amenities include limited hours room service and laundry facilities. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can arrange airport transfers (surcharge).

Getting there. RailAir operates a frequent coach service between the airport and Reading station. Tickets cost from 13 GBP and the journey takes 45 60 minutes. Heathrow Connect trains run every 30 minutes to Hayes station, from where trains run to Reading. Taxis cost approximately 40 GBP to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Reading is easy to explore on foot. The town is well served by a local bus network. Regular trains run from Reading station to London, Bath and Birmingham.
