Location. Lainston House Hotel is located in Sparsholt, England, three miles from the centre of the city of Winchester, and 12 miles from Southampton.
Hotel Features. Dating from the 17th Century, Lainston House Hotel is set within 63 acres of private parklands which contain the ruins of a medieval chapel and mile long avenue of lime trees. Amenities include a restaurant and bar, outdoor swimming pool, fitness suite, and complimentary Internet connections. Safe deposit boxes are located at the 24 hour front desk where staff can assist with travel and tourist arrangements, and porters are on hand to transfer luggage. Driving Directions

From Heathrow Airport (LHR):
Distance to Lainston House Hotel is 60 miles, approximately one hour's drive.

Getting there. The airport is on the Piccadilly line of the Underground, which runs directly to Piccadilly Circus underground station. The journey to central London takes approximately one hour, and trains depart every 10 minutes. From Piccadilly, take the Bakerloo Line to Waterloo mainline station. Trains run to Winchester and take approximately one hour. Single fares are 23 GBP. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Winchester is easily explored on foot. A car is useful for exploring further afield.
