Restaurants are, predictably, expensive. The greatest concentration is in Armação along Rua das Pedras, with Le Streghe at no. 201 serving fine Italian food, and La Poste Restante, at no. 222, and Au Cheval Blanc, at no. 181, both specializing in excellent French dishes. Cheaper options include the barracas on the beaches selling grilled fish or the numerous pizza places. Finally, there's always the Belgian-run Chez Michou Crêperie on Rua das Pedras, a popular evening hangout thanks to its open-air bar, cheap drinks and excellent crepes.
