Garryowen
- named after a district of Limerick city which also lent its name to one of Ireland's finest rugby clubs. The move, a high kick upfield pursued by a charging team who hope to hit the opposition as they catch the ball, the equivalent of Rugby League's "up-and-under", is said to have been invented here in the 1920s.
