Freddy's Bistro

Furze Bush Café Bistro
, corner of Glentworth and Catherine streets. Delightful bistro serving delicious crêpes, sandwiches and salads. Lunch only Mon-Wed, closed Sun.
The Green Onion Café
, Rutland St (tel 061/400710). Funky jazz-café/restaurant with an imaginative and reasonably priced menu offering such dishes as Moroccan spiced vegetables with pulses, Italian spicy sausage with tagliatelle, and numerous off-beat sarnie combos. Daily till 10pm.

Java's

La Romana
