The Bahnhof , a junction with direct connections to Bingen, Mainz and Saarbrücken as well as south through the Palatinate, lies towards the northeastern end of Bad Münster. A few minutes' walk to the southwest, at Berliner Str. 60, is the tourist office (Mon-Fri 8.30am-noon & 2-5pm, Sat 10am-noon; tel 0 67 08/39 93, fax 0 67 08 39 99, www.bad-muenster-am-stein.de ). Bad Münster has plenty of guesthouses and pensions , including Thomas , Kurhausstr. 9 (tel 0 67 08/6 30 00; DM80-99/¬40-49), and Rheingrafenblick , Kapitän-Lorenz-Ufer 16 (tel 0 67 08/14 16; DM80-99/¬40-49). There are also several fine hotels : Haus Lorenz , Kapitän-Lorenz-Ufer 18 (tel 0 67 08/18 41; DM100-124/¬50-62); Naheschlösschen , Berliner Str. 69 (tel 0 67 08/66 10 31; DM125-149/¬63-74), Am Kurpark , Kurhausstr. 19 (tel 0 67 08/62 90 00; DM125-149/¬63-74), and Krone , Berliner Str. 73-75 (tel 0 67 08/8 40; DM150-199/¬75-99). All of these have restaurants , though the last two are for residents only. In Ebernburg, there are a couple of hotels run in tandem with wine estates : Landhaus Rapp , Schlossgartenstr. 100 (tel 0 67 08/23 12; DM80-99/¬40-49), and Weinhotel Schneider , Gartenweg 2 (tel 0 67 08/20 43; DM100-124/¬50-62). At both of these there are wine gardens where the vintages can be sampled.
